‘Will Quit as MLA & Start New Political Party If Needed’
The cabinet expansion by AP CM Chandrababu Naidu has kicked up a storm in AP TDP as party senior leaders and several senior workers expressed their angst, dissatisfaction.
Former Environment & Forests minister and Srikalahasthi MLA Bojja Gopala Krishna Reddy, who is one among the five outsed ministers, has immediately put in his papers to both ministry & MLA seat as soon as the decision came in. While the induction of Jammalamadugu MLA Adi Narayana Reddy into cabinet hasn’t gone well with others in the region, the elevation of West Godavari district’s Achanta MLA Pitani Satyanarayana come as a shocker to Dendulur MLA Chintamaneni Prabhakar and his followers.
Questioning the decision, Chintamaneni supporters alleged that Pitani had put cases against several TDP workers during Congress rule, they asked how could a person who was behind cases on TDP workers could get ministry in TDP rule. Speaking to media, Chintamaneni announced his resignation to his MLA seat.
While maintaining that he wouldn’t join anyother political party, he stated that he would even float a new political party if required. He said that he would like to meet CM Chandrababu and submit his resignation.
