KCR Spends 10 Crore for Naidu & Reddy

Telangana Chief Minister KCR is following the footsteps of his AP counterpart Nara Chandrababu Naidu when it comes to media promotion. After placing outdoor hoardings throughout the city welcoming India’s Vice President Venkaih Naidu, KCR has arranged a grand felicitation to Naidu. This is not all.

KCR-led Telangana government has booked print advertisements to publicize the event of grand reception accorded to Venkaiah who visited Hyderabad first after being elected as India’s Vice President. This was on Monday. It is learnt that around Rs 5 Crore was spent by the Telangana government for the print advertisements on Venkaiah.

If this is not enough, on Tuesday, the Telangana state government gave ads spending another Rs 5 Crore on the eve of laying Foundation stone for Raja Bahadur Venkata Rami Reddy memorial educational institution campus at Budwel. KCR has allotted 10 acres of land to the trust.

Political and media circles are abuzz that KCR is trying his best to woo too major communities – Chowdaries and Reddys – keeping the 2019 elections in mind.
