The grief-stricken Annapurna Studios is in no mood to change the release date of their offing Ra Randoyi Veduka Chuddam. With the passing away of one of its family members, Anumolu Satya Bhushan Rao, on Thursday, producer Nagarjuna Akkineni has dropped the film’s pre-release function which was scheduled to take place on Thursday evening.
While speculations had it that the film would be postponed to June 2nd, it created quite a flutter in film circuit as several small and medium-ticket films have been slotted for June 1st and June 2nd.
When we contacted a reliable source in the know who quashed them and stated that the film is going to release on time. “There is no change in the film’s release date. It has nothing to do with the postponing of pre-release function. Ra Randoyi Veduka Chuddam is going to be released on May 26. This is fixed,” said the source close to producer Nagarjuna.
Starring Naga Chaitanya and Rakul Preet, the youthful romance laced with family drama has shades of Nag’s yesteryear classic Ninne Pelladatha. The film is being directed by Kalyan Krishna Kurasala who earlier directed Nag’s biggest hit ever Soggade Chinni Nayana
