First Time, Hyderabad Guy Enters in Forbes List
Two Indians one from Hyderabad with a legal background have made it to the Forbes 30 under 30 Asia list for 2017. Hrishikesh Datar, founder of vakilsearch.com, and Rohit Pothukuchi, founder of Standard Indian Legal Citation (SILC) got the place in the fresh Forbes list released in USA.
Hrishikesh, an NLSIU Bangalore graduate, started vakilsearch.com in 2011, with a view to providing affordable legal services to the common man.
Rohit, a 2013 NALSAR Hyderabad graduate, founded SILC in order to provide the Indian legal community with a single citation methodology. In 2015, SILC gained recognition from the Harvard Law School Library, and the support of over 140 law schools.
The Forbes 30 under 30 India list featured two people in the Law, Policy and Politics category. Arpana Choudhury of NAZDEEK, an organisation that fights for rights of tea plantation workers in Assam, and Angellica Aribam, the General Secretary of the National Students Union of India (NSUI) made it to the list
